Kelsall Steele director, Clare Vaughan will be undertaking a sponsored swim on the 22nd March in aid of Sport Relief. Clare aims to swim 100 lengths of the pool at Truro Leisure Centre, which is no less than 2.5Km in total!
Having not swum since her school days, Clare only recently got back into swimming last November – completion of 100 lengths will no doubt be as much a personal achievement as a charitable one.
Sport Relief was started in 2002 by Comic Relief in partnership with BBC Sport, bringing together the worlds of sport and entertainment to raise money in aid of vulnerable people in the UK and poorer countries abroad. This year’s Sport Relief takes place from Friday 21 to Sunday 23 March 2014.
If you would like to sponsor Clare you can do so via her personal Sport Relief Page where you can make a donation and even leave a message.
