Kelsall Steele director Clare Vaughan recently completed a 10km walk, as part of the ‘Walk It Plymouth‘ event to raise money in aid of Crohn’s and Colitis UK. So far Clare has managed to raise over £550 for the charity, and anyone wishing to donate can still do so via the JustGiving page.
Crohn’s and Colitis UK are a UK charity fighting to achieve a better quality of life now for the 300,000 people in the UK suffering physically and emotionally due to Inflammatory Bowel Disease. With the ultimate goal of finding a cure.
Clare says on her JustGiving page:
“I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in 2007 and have battled extreme pain, fatigue, weight loss and depression. It is not an illness of just the bowel but a debilitating disease which has led me to operations and heavy duty drugs which have minimised my immune system. I would love to believe there could be a cure and hold out hope for this.”
