Martyn Gillingham - Taxation Manager
Martyn entered the Profession training as an articled clerk under the Institute of Chartered Accountants with Chown and Robins of Penzance in June 1975, moving to Kelsall Steele in January 1978 in order to gain wider experience.
Over the years his role has progressed from Accounts Clerk, To Senior, Manager, Taxation Manager, and Senior Taxation Manager for the entire firm and now to enable him to pursue his other interest of antiques and collectables to that of Taxation Manager at our Camborne office.
He previously dealt with Accounting as well as Auditing cases but his main expertise in later years has been of all aspects of UK Taxation, with more emphasis one personal and business income tax and capital gains tax.
Neil Brittain - Taxation Manager
Neil started his career in taxation working for the Inland Revenue in London, initially dealing with Stamp Duty, before moving on to specialise in Company Directors and the taxation of partnerships and the self-employed. He left the Inland Revenue and moved to Plymouth and the beginning of the 1980's to join the tax department of Nevill Hovey & Co before moving to Cornwall. Neil joined Kelsall Steele in 2006 bringing with him over 30 years of experience in all areas of direct UK taxation.
